Photographer

We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer to join our team, an international school that values the importance of capturing memorable moments in the educational journey of our students. The Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality images for various school events, marketing materials, and student portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture candid and posed photos during school events such as graduations, sports events, field trips, assemblies, and performances.
• Photograph students and staff for yearbooks, school publications, and marketing collateral.
• Edit and enhance photos to ensure high-quality images that meet the school\'s visual standards.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to produce photo content for promotional materials, the school website, and social media platforms.
• Manage and organize photo archives, ensuring all images are easily accessible.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and image rights policies when photographing students and staff.
• Work with school leadership to schedule photo sessions and plan for upcoming events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a professional photographer, preferably in an educational or similar setting.
• Proficiency in photography equipment (DSLR cameras, lighting setups, and other necessary tools).
• Strong skills in photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar programs.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, especially during busy school event seasons.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity in capturing the essence of school life.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with students, staff, and parents in a professional and friendly manner.
• A good understanding of international school cultures and environments is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work, including event and portrait photography.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with videography is a plus.
• Knowledge of social media photography standards and trends.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a photographer, with a strong portfolio of work.
